Storage Hub Progress
The Storage Hub has achieved significant milestones and is nearing completion, making it ready to accept steel stock by the end of September 2024. The following are the key developments:
- Security Infrastructure: All security gates and interlocks have been installed, ensuring the area is fully secure.
- Foundation Work: The foundation for the weighbridges has been successfully laid, enabling the precise tracking of material movement.
- Safety Systems: Comprehensive safety and alarm systems have been installed, ensuring a secure operational environment.
- Road Paving and Equipment Installation: The project is in its final stages of road paving, with the installation of weighbridges and overhead cranes underway.
Production Hub Progress
The Production Hub is progressing steadily, with the following milestones:
- Structural Work: All the steel structures have been erected, providing a robust framework for the facility.
- Cement Filling & Open Yard Interlocking: Cement filling and interlocking of the open yards are completed, laying the groundwork for heavy-duty operations.
- Cladding & Office Installations: The installation of cladding and interlocking roads is currently ongoing. In addition, offices are being set up to support the operational aspects of the hub.
- Business Centre Progress: The detailing and glass cladding work for the business centre are scheduled for delivery in December 2024, aligning with the overall timeline.
