Metal Park Unveils Phase Two at Make it in the Emirates 2026 — Expanding the World’s First Plug & Play Ecosystem for Metals

Abu Dhabi, UAE — 4 May 2026

Metal Park has announced the launch of Phase Two of its integrated industrial ecosystem on the opening day of Make it in the Emirates 2026, marking a major step in enabling international metal companies to establish and scale operations in the UAE—without upfront investment.

Following the successful delivery and utilisation of Phase One, Phase Two will introduce more than 700,000 square feet of industrial units dedicated to metal processing and fabrication, reinforcing Metal Park’s position as the world’s first plug & play ecosystem for metals.

At the core of this expansion is a simple yet transformative model:
PLUG & PLAY.
Bringing the metal industry under one roof.
PAY-AS-YOU-GO.
Built for immediate operations and flexible scale.

A New Model for “Make it in the Emirates”

Phase Two aligns directly with the UAE’s national industrial agenda by enabling companies to “Make it in the Emirates” without heavy capital commitment, shifting the focus from ownership to utilisation.

> “Industrialisation is no longer about waiting to build—it’s about starting to produce,”
said Vahid Fouladkar, CEO  at Metal Park.
“Phase Two continues that shift—where companies can enter the market faster, operate with flexibility, and scale with confidence as demand grows.”

Expanding Capacity Across Production and Storage

Phase Two introduces a significant expansion across Metal Park’s infrastructure:

700,000+ SqFt of industrial units
Designed for fabrication and processing, enabling companies to operate within a fully integrated environment.

130,000+ tonnes of additional storage capacity
Expanding the Storage Hub in Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) to reach nearly 450,000 tonnes of total capacity across Abu Dhabi and Fujairah.

Independent fulfilment model
Storage offered per MT/CBM, per day—removing the need for fixed space or long-term commitments.

Strengthening Supply Chain Resilience

As part of its continued growth, Metal Park has expanded its operations to Fujairah, complementing its base in KEZAD and enabling a more resilient, dual-hub logistics structure.

This expansion ensures uninterrupted flow of metals across the UAE, with the flexibility to manage imports, exports, and inland distribution through a single, connected system.

From vessel to final delivery, Metal Park integrates:

Import, export, and distribution

Storage, processing, and fabrication

Operational and financial flows within one ecosystem

Enhancing the Ecosystem Experience

Beyond infrastructure, Phase Two will expand key facilities designed to support members and partners:

Business Centre Expansion
Flexible office solutions tailored to metal businesses operating within the park.

Community Centre Development
A space designed for collaboration, partnerships, and industry engagement.

Support Centre Enhancement
Expanded access to maintenance, testing, packaging, and operational services.

These additions reinforce Metal Park’s vision of delivering a fully integrated environment where the entire metal value chain operates under one roof.

From Infrastructure to Ecosystem

Within 24 months, Metal Park has progressed from concept to a fully operational industrial hub, with both its Production and Storage Hubs actively utilised by a growing network of global and regional companies.

Phase Two marks the next stage of this evolution—scaling capacity, strengthening connectivity, and advancing a new model for industrial growth in the UAE.
